OMNI RSFs are based on the Recirculating Sand Filter technology and must be designed in accordance with the appropriate regulations governing the use and operation of RSFs. OMNI RSFs comply with most every Recirculating Sand Filter design requirements found in the United States.
Commonwealth of Massachusetts DEP Approvals
RSFs are an Innovative/Alternative onsite technology approved in accordance with Title 5, by the MA Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the following uses:
General Use Approval Nitrogen Reduction (550 gal/day/acre)
Remedial Use Approval (50% reduction in soil absorption system, 2 foot reduction to estimated high ground water, reduction in naturally occurring pervious material)
