  4. Installation Process
    • These directions are only suggestions and are not meant as specific guidlines. The installer is resposible for the correct installation and may use thier own judgment and/or methods for installation.
    • Start by installing the Septic Tank, the Septic Tank is to be set at the elevation specified on the site and septic plan.
    • Next install the Recirculation Tank; this is to be set lower than the Septic Tank in order to enable gravity flow from the Septic Tank. The 4" pipe exiting the Septic Tank connects to the 3" pipe in the short end of the Recirculation Tank (see figure 1B on page 3 in the installer manual).
    • Next, install the Filter Modules; in order to set the Filter modules an area to set them in must be prepared first. For example, a "pad" to set two (2) Filter Modules in would have to be dug out with these approximate dimensions; for length 10 feet, for width 12 feet, and for depth measure where final grade elevation is going to be with a laser transit and then from that final grade elevation, transfer the laser sight upwards on the story pole 42 inches, this will insure that the top of the filter modules will meet final grade elevation.
    • Next, install the D-Box or Pump Chamber. The D-box should be lower than the outlet pipe of the Recirculation Tank so that the water flows by gravity from the Recirculation Tank.
    • Use caution when backfilling around the 1 ½" lines, risers and covers.
  5. Installation Requirements
    • The excavation company is to furnish and install the following:
      • Setting of all system components.
      • All 3" and 4" piping
      • Backfilling (Using Caution around all pipes and risers)
      • Scheduling Electrician
      • Setting Risers and Covers as required
