All OMNI maintenance personnel have been certified by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) as Certified Wastewater Plant Operators.
Routine Maintenance Visits include the following:
- Inspection of the septic tank condition, effluent filter in the outlet tee, scum and sludge depth measurement for pumping purposes.
- Inspection of the Recirculation Tank condition, pumps, float switches, inlet tee effluent filter and sludge depth accumulation for pumping purposes.
- Inspection of the Filter Modules for ponding, biomat health, orifices and lateral lines.
- Maintenance of Filter Beds does NOT include addition of mulch or replacement of filter fabric.
- Inspection of Control Panel.
- Replacement of any components under warranty.
Routine services do not include landscaping, component replacement or repair not covered under warranty. Services do not include emergency visits that are the result of misuses or improper operating procedures.
OMNI Environmental will give notice for a routine maintenance visit when access to the dwelling is needed. It is not necessary for the property owner or manager to be present.
During routine maintenance visits, the OMNI maintenance personnel will need access to the following items:
- Tops of the Filter Modules.
- Recirculation Tank (via two covers).
- Septic Tank (via one cover).
- Control Panel (if necessary).
The property owner or manager is responsible for providing access to these areas. If the Control Panel is not accessible during the scheduled maintenance visit, or the maintenance personnel is prevented from accessing any of the areas listed above, additional call-back charges may apply.
Maintenance Reports
A Maintenance Visit Report is prepared for each visit. Copies are available at ftp.omnirsf.com. Maintenance Reports will include information on the systems condition at the time of the visit, any problems encountered, maintenance procedures or repairs performed and any recommendations to system owner.
