System owners should know all the different componenets of their system and where they are located.

1. Septic Tank
2. Recirculation Tank
3. Filter Modules
4. Control Panel
5. Pump Chamber (Pressure Dosed Leaching Fields Only)
6. Distribution Box
7. Soil Absorption System (SAS) ("Leaching Field")
   
   

As a Homeowner, you should have general knowledge where all of your septic system components are located. You should become familiar with the location of your RSF components.

If you damage or obstruct the reserve area, it may not be usable as a drainfield site. Soil disturbing activities such as paving, grading, excavating, construction or compaction must not occur in or around this dedicated area. This information can be found at the local Board of Health.
